Accounts and Subscriptions

From creating an account to day-to-day upkeep of your subscription link, this section covers the first half of an account's life: sign-up requirements, where to get your subscription, how automatic updates work, switching devices and what to do if a link leaks.

Do I need an email address to sign up?

No. VPNDT uses a username and password to create an account, so no email address is required and there is no verification email to wait for. Open the Log in button at the right end of the navigation bar to reach the user panel, then fill in a username and password in the sign-up view to finish creating your account. From there you can view plans, download clients and get your subscription link. Your username and password are the credentials for later logins, so keep them safe.

Where do I get my subscription link, and how do I import it into a client?

Subscription links are issued only inside the user panel after you log in; the marketing pages never provide a static subscription address. Once logged in, go to the download client section, install the client for your platform, then return to the panel, copy the subscription link and paste it into the client's subscription import field. After you confirm, the client pulls the server list automatically. Step-by-step instructions for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux are in the setup guide; if the import fails, first check whether the link was broken by a line wrap.

How often does the subscription update, and do I need to do it manually?

When servers change, the service updates the subscription content and the client pulls it automatically on its own update cycle, so manual action is usually unnecessary. If a new server is missing from the list, tap update subscription once in the client, or copy the subscription link again in the user panel and re-import it to overwrite the old one. The same subscription link can be imported on several devices — you don't need a separate one for each.

Do I need to buy a new plan when I switch devices?

No. VPNDT places no limit on simultaneous devices, so one account can be used on several devices at once; on a new device you just install a client and import the same subscription link. When you stop using an old device, it's best to delete the subscription or log out in the client so the local configuration isn't left behind. If you suspect the link on an old device has leaked, simply reset the subscription link in the panel.

What should I do if my subscription link leaks?

A subscription link works as an access credential for your account: once it appears in a public place, anyone can use it and burn through your data. The fix is to reset the subscription link in the user panel — the old link stops working immediately — and then re-import the new link on every device. In day-to-day use, avoid sharing screenshots of your subscription link and don't paste it into online clipboard tools.

Connections and Troubleshooting

Most connection problems can be traced at either the client or the local network. The entries below run through total connection failure, connected but pages won't open, a single app not going through the proxy, mobile clients dropping in the background and frequent disconnects — work through them in order.

The client says the connection failed and nothing connects — what should I do?

First confirm your local network is working, then check in order: whether the client is up to date; try another server in the same region; close other proxy software on the system so several proxies aren't fighting over system settings; check that the system clock is accurate, since a large time offset breaks the encrypted handshake; restart the client and the router. If none of that helps, work through the total connection failure chapter of the troubleshooting guide item by item, and include the client name and version, the server name and the exact error message in your ticket.

It says connected, but web pages won't open?

That usually means the tunnel is up and the problem lies in DNS resolution or the routing rules. Try these in turn: flush the local DNS cache and reopen the browser; disable any proxy extension installed separately in the browser, since it interferes with the client's own routing; switch the proxy mode from rule-based to global as a test — if pages load in global mode, the rules simply don't cover that domain, so switch back and add the domain to your custom rules. A wrong system clock or a certificate error can also show up as connected but unable to open pages.

Why doesn't a particular app go through the proxy?

There are three common causes: the app uses UDP or a protocol of its own, and the routing rules only handle common TCP traffic by default; the app ships with its own network stack and ignores the system proxy; or, in rule mode, the app's domain isn't in the rule list. How to narrow it down: switch the proxy mode to global first — if the app works again, it's a rule coverage issue, so add its domain or process to your custom rules; if global mode still doesn't help, the app ignores the system proxy, and you need to enable TUN or virtual network adapter mode in the client to capture all traffic.

Why does the mobile client disconnect shortly after I switch to another app?

That's the mobile system's power-saving policy reclaiming background processes, not the server dropping. On Android, add the client to the battery optimization allowlist and permit background activity; on iOS, allow background refresh for the client and avoid swiping it away from the app switcher. Some phones have a separate setting that clears background apps after the screen locks — turn that off too. If the system restrictions can't be lifted, keep the client in the foreground when you need a long session, or use a desktop device instead.

How do I pin down frequent disconnects?

First work out whether every server drops or only one. If all servers drop often, suspect your local network first: weak wireless signal, an overloaded router or jitter on your ISP's link — try a wired connection or compare on a different network. If only one server drops, note the times and the server name, switch to another server type in the same region to compare stability, and send the server name, time window and client logs in a ticket so support can tell whether it's server scheduling or your local setup.

Speeds and Servers

Speed depends on server quality as much as on your local bandwidth, wireless environment and testing method. This section helps you tell a server problem from a local one and shows how to check things yourself.

What can I do about the slowdown at peak hours?

Cross-border links carry a heavier load overall at peak hours. Switch first to servers marked as IEPL dedicated lines, which run on separate channels with less jitter; next, avoid the regions whose ISP exits are most congested and move to another region that serves the same need. If you can, use a wired connection instead of wireless, and stop other devices on the same network from downloading, syncing to the cloud or streaming 4K. If it's slow several evenings in a row, put the time window and server name in a ticket.

How do I pick a low-latency server?

The server type decides what it does best: IEPL dedicated lines run on separate channels with stable latency and low jitter, which suits gaming, live meetings and long sessions; direct-connect servers take the shortest path and suit light, latency-sensitive browsing; relay servers cover more regions and suit reaching services in a specific country. A good order is to filter servers by the region your target service is in, then try IEPL dedicated, direct-connect and relay servers in that region, and go by what you actually measure on your own device.

Why don't my speed test results match the advertised numbers?

Speed tests are affected by your local bandwidth ceiling, wireless signal quality, the location of the test server, the time of day and how many devices are online, so a single peak figure doesn't represent everyday experience. Test three times during off-peak hours and three times at peak, and record latency, jitter, packet loss and throughput — jitter and packet loss matter most, since they explain video stutter better than peak speed. Why does 4K video keep dropping to 480p?

Streaming platforms step the quality down automatically based on real-time bandwidth and buffer state, so a drop to 480p usually means the server's sustained bandwidth is too low or jitter is high at that time of day, not that your device can't decode. What to do: switch to an IEPL dedicated line in the target region; make sure no other device is competing for bandwidth; and let the client handle DNS itself so local DNS doesn't resolve to the wrong entry point. Do several devices online at once slow each other down?

There's no limit on simultaneous devices, but what actually uses bandwidth at any moment is the device transferring data. When several devices stream video or download large files at once, the total bandwidth is shared between them, so each one gets slower. In everyday use, schedule system updates and cloud syncs for off-peak hours, or set a per-device speed limit on your router, so one device can't saturate the connection.

Billing and Refunds

Prices, data reset rules and the refund promise are all collected here. Every figure matches the packages page and the order details in the user panel; if anything disagrees, the order in the panel is authoritative.

How is the monthly plan billed, and when does data reset?

The monthly plan comes in three tiers: ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the day you subscribed — subscribe on the 8th, for example, and your data resets on the 8th of every month. If you upgrade from a lower tier to a higher one mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated by the remaining days and the upgrade takes effect immediately, with no need to wait for the next reset date.

What's the difference between a data pack and a monthly plan?

A monthly plan provides data each month and resets on your subscription date, which suits steady long-term use; a data pack is bought once and used until it runs out, never expires, and suits top-ups or usage that fluctuates a lot. The two stack: plan data is used first, and a data pack covers anything beyond it. Data packs come in three tiers: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB.

Which payment methods are supported?

Alipay, WeChat and USDT are supported at the moment. After placing an order, choose the matching channel on the orders page of the user panel to pay; the plan activates as soon as payment succeeds, with no manual review. If the payment page doesn't return to the panel for a long time, refresh the order status in the panel before paying again, so you don't place a duplicate order.

How do I request a refund?

VPNDT offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, open a ticket in the user panel with your order number and payment method — you don't have to give a reason. The money goes back the way you paid, and how long it takes depends on the payment channel. If the order includes an upgrade or an added data pack, mention that in the ticket so everything can be checked in one pass.

How is the cost calculated if I upgrade mid-cycle?

The upgrade difference is prorated by the remaining days: the unused value of your current plan is credited against the price of the new one, and you pay the difference. The upgrade takes effect immediately, and the new plan's data allowance and reset date update with it — no need to buy again or open another account. If you only want a temporary top-up, a data pack is more flexible than an upgrade, and it never expires.
