Route overview: nodes grouped by region
VPNDT currently covers 110+ countries and 150+ routes. The table below lists representative routes, grouped into four areas: Asia-Pacific, North America, Europe and other regions.
The “Country / Region” and “City” columns show where the exit data center actually sits, which is what determines the location the target service sees when you pick a route. The “Route type” column marks whether a route runs over an IEPL dedicated line, a relay or a direct connection; how the three work, when to use them and how their costs differ is covered in the next section. The “Streaming support” column only lists platforms that have been verified — a missing label does not mean a platform will not work, only that it has not been checked one by one yet.
This page is a static list and does not show latency, load or live bandwidth figures. Those numbers shift with your local ISP, the time of day and how congested the exit is; hard-coding them on a page tells you nothing and can easily mislead. When picking a route, two things are worth settling first: which country the exit sits in and how the route connects.

The three route types explained
Connecting to the US is one thing, but whether traffic goes over a dedicated line, a relay or a direct connection shows up mainly at peak hours and on long-lived connections. Each of the three has its place.
IEPL dedicated line
Dedicated lineIEPL is an International Ethernet Private Line: a point-to-point Layer 2 channel between two data centers, with traffic that never leaves through a public internet exit. VPNDT runs dedicated lines at its core locations — Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Los Angeles and Frankfurt — where the path from entry to exit is fixed and does not jitter when public exits queue up at peak hours.

Relay
RelayThe client connects to the nearest entry node first, and that entry node forwards traffic over an optimized backbone to an exit node in the target country. Entry and exit are two separate segments, so one entry can serve exits in several countries — the route count grows faster than dedicated lines and covers more cities.

Cost: between dedicated and direct. Real-world performance depends on the bandwidth and scheduling of the relay segment, so it varies from one entry to another.
Direct
DirectThe client connects straight to the exit node with no extra hops in between. It is the shortest path and the simplest setup, and it is the default way new regions go live — which is why direct routes cover the most cities. The trade-off: the path runs entirely over the public internet, so peak-hour stability depends on your local ISP's international capacity to that region.

No route is universally better — only better for the task at hand. Here are recommendations for five common use cases.
Everyday browsing and research
Best pick: the nearest direct route
Opening pages and sending email are more sensitive to single-hop latency, so start with the closest direct node. If your ISP's international capacity to that region is clearly congested at peak hours, switch to a relay route in the same region so the first leg rides an optimized path.
Streaming video
Best pick: a dedicated or relay route in the target region
Streaming platforms decide their catalog by the exit IP's location, so first decide which region's library you want, then pick a route in that country. 4K playback depends more on link stability than on peak bandwidth, and dedicated lines hold up better at peak hours; if the dedicated line is saturated, a relay route in the same region is a good fallback.
AI tools
Best pick: relay or dedicated routes in the US / Japan / Singapore
Most AI tools decide availability by exit IP and flag mid-session IP changes on long conversations. Pick one stable exit and stay on it; rather than speed-testing repeatedly, using a single route consistently gives the steadier experience.
Gaming
Best pick: a direct route in the same region as the game server
Games care more about latency jitter than bandwidth, so prefer a direct route in the same region with few hops. For cross-region matchmaking (playing on US servers, for example), a relay route is sometimes steadier than direct — the relay leg runs over an optimized backbone and skips the queues at public exits.
Cross-border work and meetings
Best pick: an IEPL dedicated line
Video meetings are long-lived connections, and a mid-call drop means rejoining — a much bigger cost than a slightly slower link. Dedicated lines have a fixed path, which suits people who meet at set hours; if you only join occasionally, a relay route in the same region is enough.
Route naming rules
Route names in the client follow the format “City · Route type Number”, which carries just three pieces of information.

“Hong Kong” is the city where the exit data center sits; “IEPL dedicated line” is how the route connects; “01” only distinguishes routes of the same type in the same city.
Los Angeles · Relay 03
The number is not a priority ranking, nor does it reflect when a route launched. One city can have several routes of the same type, sitting in different racks and on different upstream links.
Tokyo · Direct 02
If a route performs poorly on your network, just switch to the next one of the same type in the same city — no new purchase and no new subscription needed.
Frankfurt · IEPL dedicated line 01
Add frequently used routes to favorites and they stay pinned at the top of the list. Favorites only change the display order on your device; they do not reserve a route or affect what other devices pick.
The route list updates with your subscription. After new routes sync, refresh the subscription once in your client to see them — no re-import and no new purchase required.

How many routes are there in total? Why does the table list only some of them?

The table on this page lists representative routes from each region so you can get a feel for the coverage and the mix of route types; the full list syncs to your client with the subscription, and the route list inside the client is the source of truth.
Why are there no latency or bandwidth numbers here?
Latency varies with your local ISP, the time of day and how congested the exit is — the same node can differ widely across networks, so hard-coding numbers on a page would be meaningless. The better approach: connect to a route in your client, try it for your actual use case, then decide whether to switch to another route in the same city.
How many devices can use one subscription at the same time?

Can I choose an exit in a specific country?
Yes. The client's route list is grouped by region — pick the country you want and choose a route within it. Note that route types differ by country: some countries only have direct routes, while others offer both dedicated and relay. The “Route type” column in the table is there to show exactly that.
Does switching routes require a new purchase or re-importing the subscription?
No. All routes in the same subscription can be switched freely — changing routes only changes the connection path and costs nothing extra. Traffic resets monthly on your activation date; if you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated over the remaining days.
